Savvy bird lovers traveling southern Africa know Chobe Safari Lodge at the Chobe National Park is an ideal place for birding.

The bird and birder friendly garden bustles with birdlife, including such rare species as Collared Flycatcher, a rare summer visitor to southern Africa, and Collared Palm-Thrush.
These birds indicate that the lodge garden is managed birdfriendly by including indigenous plants to attract wild birds for visitors to enjoy.
For these efforts the Chobe Safari Lodge received a two penguin-rated Bird & Birder Friendly Award.
