Every tour counts!


Every time BirdsConTour leads a tour, we give something back. 
This time it was the Okavango Tour, a tour from Zimbabwe through Botswana to Namibia, organized by Chamäleon Reisen and Pack Safari and led by BirdsConTour.

A Heart for a Baobab.
Baobab trees share their limited range with a growing number of humans - and their baobab sibling-crushing livestock. But BirdsConTour together with a group of guests set a sign to make people aware of baobab tree protection.
It was encouraging to see that there is a growing body of travelers who go beyond simply traveling and get involved in conservation activities by rolling up their sleeves and participating.

The above three displayed roadkills attracted lots of Pied Crows and Cape Crows, putting them at risk of being trapped by passing vehicles.  By having removed these roadkill attractions, BirdsConTour reduced the risk for these crows of getting hit by vehicles.
