360 | Ju/'Hoansi San awarded for the first time

WELFARE & TOURISM

Paintings and archaeological findings on Omandumba Guestfarm, where the Living Museum of the Ju/'Hoansi-San is situated, proof that long time ago San (also called Bushmen) used to live and hunt here.
Since 2008 visitors can get an insight into the ancient hunter- gatherer culture. With their visit, guests contribute with giving the San a lucrative income. The Living Museum helps the members to remember their traditional culture.
For their efforts, BirdsConTour awarded the Ju/'Hoansi San with a two penguin-rated Welfare & Tourism Support 2015 Award.
BirdsConTour reports in article 323.
