Omandumba Guestfarm provides friendly farm accommodation in north-western Namibia.
The guestfarm is situated in the Erongo Conservancy where Harald and Deike play an active role in conservation and thanks to their input rhinos are back on stage and can be viewed by guests.
Owners Deike and Harald Rust find it necessary to maintain sustainable tourism.
The menu served contains as much local products as possible.
Electricity is created by solar energy.
Each chalet has its own solar hot water supply.
One of Omandumba's goals is to educate the youth. Therefore the Omandumba Kindergarten gets supported by Harald and Deike with a proud Ms Kelly as Kindergarten teacher.
The Living Museum of the Ju/'Hoansi San is also supported and maintained by Deike and Harald.
Visitors are also taken to the ancient rock paintings and stone tools on the farm, inviting guests to experience a time long forgotten.
