405 | Special Birds Overload at Erongo Wilderness Lodge

WELFARE, CONSERVATION & TOURISM



Erongo Wilderness Lodge, situated in the 200 000 hectare Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy, is taking serious action to save animals in this natural reserve within a vast volcanic crater complex. Erongo Wilderness Lodge also supports local people and implements sustainable tourism measures.
BirdsConTour took the initiative to award the lodge with a three penguin-rated Welfare, Conservation & Tourism Support 2015 Award for its commitment in welfare, conservation and sustainable tourism practices.



The Erongo Wilderness Lodge and its surrounding is renowned as a birding "hotspot"
