Aiding Wings, Happy Easter!

International
operating BirdsConTour (Birds Conservation & Tourism) formed the
non-religious and non-political charity program Aiding Wings.
Aiding Wings works to motivate people and to improve the lives of people,
ultimately to generate a nature conservation conscious community.
BirdsConTour
believes that only a content society can indulge in sustainable nature
conservation.
Another campaign
of Aiding Wings was
successfully accomplished:
BirdsConTour and
a volunteer, Mrs. Birgit Leicher, visited impoverished children in Katutura, a
township in Windhoek, Namibia, to give them an Easter surprise. The “Easter
Bunny” informed the children that he was afraid of hurting himself in the trash
lying around the hut while trying to hide the Easter surprise and if they could
collect the litter so that he can proceed unconcerned. He added that the
garbage could also hurt or even kill other animals such as birds that are
useful to man. Eagerly the kids collected litter and soon thereafter the eyes
of these children gleamed with pleasure while collecting handfuls of colorful
Easter chocolate.
