COMPLIMENTARY TICKET FOR YEARS OF BIRD CONSERVATION

Private harmonica player artist and garden bird conservationist honored by BirdsConTour’s Birds in Art project

The aim of BirdsConTour’s creative project Birds in Art is to carry the message of promoting bird tourism and bird conservation to a far wider public audience than ever before through the communication medium of art.

In recognition of the services delivered by BirdsConTour’s Bird in Art regarding the “Carmina Burana & Africana” outings, Mrs. Wendula Dahle (co-author of Trummis Liste), one of the organizers of the entertainment program for this large choir, gave BirdsConTour two complimentary tickets for the intercultural German-Namibian “Carmina Burana & Africana” performance by the SingAkademie Niedersachsen and the Amdie!Khoen Choir from Windhoek on the 16^th of March.

   

The Birds in Art project decided to give one of these tickets to a passionate harmonica player artist and bird friendly gardener, Mrs. Heidi Rust, in recognition for years of wild garden bird conservation.
