The Ngatuve Vatere orphanage was awarded a two penguin-rated Welfare & Tourism Support 2016 Award. Ngatuve Vatere strives to provide a home for children in need of help and welcomes guests to visit, benefiting from Namibia's responsible tourism.

BirdsConTour has an active interest in the wellbeing of Namibia's people and therefore awarded Ngatuve Vatere for its commitment.

427 | Not only birds

CONSERVATION

The birds conservation and tourism organization BirdsConTour continuously collects new and gently used clothing, binoculars, torches, water bottles and other usable items and donates these to rhino rangers, these frontline heroes that work hard for frequently little merit.

This project is initiated as a contribution to the protection of the endangered White and Black rhinos.

On the 17.5. two boxes of usable equipment were delivered to the head office of the Save the Rhino Trust Namibia.
